Danny Malone, part of our specification team at Tiles & Mosaics, has worked with local interior design company Beckett and Beckett for a number of years.
Outside of lockdown, they are regular visitors to our tile showroom which they visit, usually with fabric and wall paper samples in hand, to make tile selections for both residential and commercial clients.
They like to come into the showroom for inspiration and to see our latest ranges and also sometimes bring along clients who want the extra assurance of seeing the suggest finishes fixed and grouted on our displays.
They are big fans of our realistic marble look porcelain tile collections, particularly Italian collections All Marble by Marazzi and Marmoker by Caslagrande.
All Marble in colours Saint Laurent (the dark brown colour) and Capraia (white with dark grey/brown veins), were selected last year, both for the same client who wanted a high quality finish, a sense of luxury but with some drama in their bathroom renovation. Our marble ranges appealed as they ticked all those luxury boxes, but also leave their clients with low maintenance finishes, unlike the extra maintenance that comes with real marble.
Danny said “I really liked the fact they selected 600×600 for walls and floors, which I think is really effective. It’s a format that most customers only associate with floors and often go to 600x300mm for the walls. That is what is great about working with good interior designers who have the vision and bravery to go outside the norms and create rooms that stand out“.
Beckett and Beckett added, “We love working with Tiles & Mosaics because of the second to none help and advice we receive, every time. We keep coming back because your showroom shows quality and efficiency and you interpret our needs with such accuracy and enable us to bring our interior design visions to life”.
