After years of partnership with this beautiful Yorkshire hotel and more than a decade of planning. Ceramique Internationale were delighted to be selected as the chosen Tile supplier for the £9.5 Million renovation of Rudding Park Spa.
The brand-new spa included a gorgeous indoor swimming pool, sauna, and beauty facilities. In addition, a stunning rooftop spa was created, consisting of an infinity pool, steam rooms, and a unique rooftop garden designed by Matthew Wilson, an award-winning garden and landscape designer.
We used our vast experience and knowledge in the tile industry and worked closely with our European tile manufacturers to provide Rudding Park Spa with high-quality tiles for their pools, changing rooms, and outdoor areas, creating a stunning and elegant design.
After receiving a design brief from Simon and Judy, the owners of Rudding Park, our sales manager recommended a section of tiles from Casalgrande and Ragno both leading Italian tile manufacturers.
The colour scheme was that of neutrals including greys and beiges to give a sleek look to the spa, and we recommended a combination of Ragno’s landscape tile in Sabbia (or beige to you and me) and Casalgrande’s Amazonia tile in Dragon Grey.
The combination of these tiles were used on the inside of the Infinity and indoor pools and along the edge of the indoor pool to provide stunning detail. The tiles used on the floor of the pool room, all have an anti-slip surface meaning the tiles not only look flawless but are safe for the guests which of course is vital.
We are delighted to have been a part of this incredible project and in addition, we were recently honored to be awarded the award for Best Tiles and Mosaics Supplier UK in the Build Magazine Home and Garden Awards for our work with Rudding Park Hotel in January 2021.
We can’t wait till lockdown is over so we can pay a visit to this stunning hotel and spa again.
